Canterbrooke has opened it’s doors to our beloved horse friends and they have stared arriving. Our first arrivals came during the month off August and got a good look at some of the construction taking place. September and October saw more friends arriving and they have all settled in, enjoying the shade filled paddocks and new sand in the arena. Our Barns are Ready

The Canterbrooke barns have been completed and the horses simply love it It has been a long and eventful journey taking Canterbrooke from a design on paper to two beautiful American style barns standing, with happy horses living in them. Like any good construction project the constant building noise drove us nuts, but we have some bomb proof horses to show for it. We had our fair share of set backs, with the summer rains showing us all the leaks, paving caving in, bricks being delivered late, and many more little niggles. Getting Started

Slowly, Canterbrooke is becoming the top class venue it is going to be – but we thought you’d like a look of what the journey to get there looked like: We’ve moved from a total construction site; building individual and herd paddocks as well as all the arenas to getting the barn up and running, so the first horses could move in! It’s been an exceedingly eventful journey – but an enjoyable one for all of us – and we’ll keep you updated with news, events and photos as our journey continues!
